2.4​ ​ Bodywork​ ​ and​ ​ Fairing

Hi,

We were wondering how to interpret rule 2.4 : "the face of the pilot remains exposed".
Is it allowed to have a fairing placed in front of the face of the pilot, while the sides remains exposed (see figure)?

Fairings must be transparent or you have to use a radar (but I'm not sure they are allowed in Russia near military zones) or a dog guide. If they are transparent, the face of the pilot should be visible.

The rule concerns mainly velomobiles where the pilot is sometimes totaly enclosed in a "cockpit".

Our advice is start riding and testing now.
Even if the fairing and aerodynamics aren t ready, do it and learn. (ask the team leuven about it ..)
the theory and the bike that won't fail you , are about 500 to 1000kms apart each other
