Route suntrip
Hi,
I spoke with 2 guys during meeting in Belgium. There I found out that they do have the same understanding like me: More or less there is only one route with make sens. This route is strongly considering the bee line (closest possible track). Because of this we can work here together to figure out a track. Also we can make pitstop places for all which is strongly needed from my understanding. Sparepart are a must because we need to change for example tires, chain,...
Who is interesting to work on a track?
I will start in the next 2 weeks to build my track. I will open it here later.
Best regards Juergen

Re: Route suntrip
Hi,
I made a first track. It is using the fairy over the lake from Thonon to Lausanne. Is this okay with the rules?
Here is my first track. I do not know if it is working for bike because I did routing some parts with eco car modus. The track is 11 921km long. But I do not know how to upload it here. So everyone who like to get please send me a message and I will send you the track by email.
Best regards Jürgen

Re: Route suntrip
Hi,
okay I understand. But what is when there is a river and no brigde only ferry connection? Do we need to take always a brigde? From my point of view all ferry connection over rivers should be okay with the rules.
Best regards Juergen

Re: Route suntrip
Hi,
do anyone know in which country it is possible to use the motorway with the bike? Most important would it be if I can use the motorway in China for the bike? From my understanding in Ukraine, Russia and Kasastan there is no other way then using the motorway. Correct?
Best regards Juergen

Hi Juergen,
About motorways in China, you can find the information here in the forum.
In Hungary, bikes are not allowed on many national roads, there are bike paths but often narrow and badly usable.

Re: Route suntrip
Hi Camille and Auguste,
sounds great I will have a look. If you like I can send you my first route. But this is very simple produced by brouter in the moment. I still have some problems how to know if the roads are okay with bike in China. But we can talk beginning of march at the meeting. I think this is one of my top topics for this meeting.

Re: Route suntrip
